  1. I’m upset that I missed yet another episode of The Voice because my son decided to stop mommy’s DVR recording so that he could watch cartoons. I had to watch it on my job’s site, DISHonline.com, the other night and I’m glad that I did because I absolutely loved the “Heart-Shaped Box” performance! I’m looking forward to the rest of the battle rounds because I think that the winners are less predictable than last year. I’ll also get to see every episode because I upgraded the receiver to DISH’s whole-home HD DVR, the Hopper. Thankfully, its PrimeTime Anytime feature will record The Voice and the other three major networks during primetime for up to 8 days. It’ll be great for this Monday because my son will be able to watch his cartoons without interrupting mommy’s show! I told my sister about the Hopper since she has the same DVR issues as I do. She’s ecstatic that it’ll make it easy for her to watch all of her favorite shows and since she’ll be new to DISH, she’ll get her Hopper free.

    1. Lol! You’re such a good mom, I think if I had a kid and he did that I would flip-out. I know what you mean about the PrimeTime Anytime feature on the Hopper since I got my Hopper back in March. I think I was the first Dish employee in line to get one because I knew that I could utilize the PrimeTime Anytime feature since I work nights. Have you heard about the new Auto Hop feature that lets you choose if you want to watch your PrimeTime Anytime recordings without commercials? It’s like a dream come true, and without all of those commercials, I have more time to actually watch TV.
