Real Estate News: Larry Mercer Team hosts annual holiday celebration

The Larry Mercer Team at RE/MAX Metro held its holiday party last weekend at an old, two-story building that was Snow's Grocery Store in Rice Military Addition at the corner of Patterson and Floyd streets. Using Snow's old place for the party had a special meaning for The Larry Mercer Team, which includes Larry Mercer, Josh Hill and Terence Barnes Team Realtor Hill sold the old building to Matt and Tabitha Anderson, who had the building completely restored into their home, as well as a trendy venue for parties. More than 300 people attended The Larry Mercer Team holiday party and toured the facility from the bottom floor to the attic. Drinks included tea, punch, wine, champagne and home brews from four home-brewer clients (Phil Hawley, Ben Johnson, David Kaiser and Donald Kilgore) who competed in a "brew-off" to get the most votes based on taste. The underlying traditional theme of the remodeled 1920s house rang through the party, intertwined with modern touches that made the party anything but ordinary.
