New Mormon Temple Dedicated in Kansas City

During a hot, sticky summer nearly two decades ago, my parents, four younger siblings, and I piled into our blue station wagon, heading east of the Rocky Mountains to visit LDS Church history sites in western Illinois and northwestern Missouri. While it was a long 10 days of “togetherness,” that trip changed my life, as I saw places I had only heard about before.
