Former Alief ISD teacher accused of having sexual relationship with students

A former Alief Independent School District economics teacher has been charged with allegedly having sexual relationships with several female students, marking the second time in a week that an educator at Elsik High School has been charged. Jeffrey Nicholas Guzman, 32, who taught at Elsik High School for nine years, has been placed on administrative leave, pending termination, after authorities found evidence of a sexual relationship between him and a 17-year-old high school senior this year, according to a statement from the Alief ISD. Guzman is charged with improper relationship with a student for incidents on March 2 and March 22, according to a charging document from the Harris County District Court. School district authorities found a photo sent to the student's cell phone from the teacher that showed him partially clothed, the document said. Two other female former students at the high school also came forward and told school administrators and police that they have had sex with Guzman, the document states.
